Frequently Asked Questions

Everything you need to know about Revnary.

No. Export a CSV or Excel file, upload to Revnary, download the Excel workbook. No integrations.
.csv, .xlsx, .xls.
These four are compulsory: Invoice Date, Invoice Number, Description, Net Amount. We'll auto-detect column names, but please review the mapping and fix anything off before running.
Yes. Revnary tries to auto-map common header names (e.g., "Date", "Inv No", "Details", "Amount"). If a header doesn't match, you'll be asked to map it once — we recommend double-checking.
A row where a clear service period wasn't found (e.g., the description doesn't contain a usable date range). Those lines are sent to the Unparsed Rows tab with a reason so you can amend the description, re-export, and upload again.
Potential duplicates are flagged using a sensible key (e.g., customer, invoice number, date, amount). Review the Duplicates Found tab, fix in your source file if needed, and upload again.
Credits are shown as negatives in parentheses (e.g., (1,000.00)). Debits are positive. The Running Balance column returns to zero when the period completes.
Yes — when all periods are recognised. The Deferred Revenue Waterfall shows opening balance, new deferrals, recognised, and closing balance by month.

Free Analysis: one file, 50 rows (one-time). Starter: 500 rows/month. Pro: 10,000 rows/month. Enterprise: custom limits. All rows reset monthly; unused rows don't roll over. Overage available for Starter and Pro at £5 per 1,000 rows.
You can upload multi-currency files; values are treated as provided. Currency conversion is not applied.
No. Revnary sends only column headers and small text samples to Google Gemini for column mapping and date extraction. Your full data is never shared with any AI provider and is never used to train models. Google Gemini's API Terms of Service prohibit training on API inputs.
Files are stored on Google Cloud in the EU. Core processing runs on Google Cloud Run in the EU (limited column headers/samples may be sent to Google Gemini for mapping). Files are retained for 90 days after job completion, or until you delete them — whichever comes first.
You can upgrade to Starter (£19/mo, 500 rows) or Pro (£49/mo, 10,000 rows) any time to process more data and get the full workbook with all tabs.
Yes to both. VAT invoices are available for all paid subscriptions. You can cancel any time; your plan stays active until the end of the billing period.
Yes. You can delete any uploaded file or generated workbook at any time from your Processing history page. Once deleted, the data is permanently removed from our servers.
